We look forward to welcoming you to one of our Clearing Campus Visits. These events will be running from 10:00-14:00 on the following dates:

  • Welcome and Check In

    10:00-13:30 – Thomas Paine Study Centre

    On arrival, please make your way to Thomas Paine Study Centre, where our team will be ready to welcome you. Search ‘Thomas Paine Study Centre’ on our campus map to find your way. 
      
    Looking for a less busy environment to check in? Follow signs to our quiet check in, which is still located close to tours and talks, but in a smaller, quieter environment.

    Welcome to UEA and Next Steps – Thomas Paine Study Centre Lecture Theatre

    This talk offers a welcome to the day and a more general welcome to UEA. Join us to find out more about living and studying at UEA, life in Norwich as well our values.

    Next Steps

    13:00-13:30 

    Our Next Steps information session will aim to provide you with a package of useful information and hints and tips to make clearing and beyond as stress free as possible. Join us for this inspiring talk which incorporates our very own students and delves into the vibrant and supportive community at the University of East Anglia as well as discovering our student’s personal clearing journeys.

  • Meet a Lecturer

    10:30-13:30 - Thomas Paine Study Centre Foyer - Engage in discussions with our lecturers to gain valuable insights into your chosen subject.

    We will have Lecturers available from all subject areas for you to chat with.  These staff are teaching on our degree programmes and so will be able to offer you all the knowledge and information you need to find out about studying your chosen subject at UEA.

  • Campus and Accommodation Tours

    10:00 – 14:00 – Thomas Paine Study Centre - Take a guided tour of UEA's campus with one of our friendly and helpful students 

    Explore Campus

    We’ll show you the key features of our beautiful campus including the essential amenities. You’ll discover lots of places to socialise and spaces to take time out. You’ll also learn about how our campus and facilities will help you to thrive in an environment that will soon feel like home.

    You'll tour one or more of our student residences, take in some of our key teaching and learning spaces, enjoy acres of green parkland, and a visit a variety of student facilities. 

    Tours run on-demand and last between 45 minutes and one hour.

    Accommodation

    We can’t guarantee specific flats will be open for you to view, but you will have the opportunity to see a selection of our accommodation. If a particular accommodation isn’t open, there are 360-degree videos of a variety of accommodation on our Virtual Open Day Platform. Check out our types of accommodation before you arrive.

    Slower paced tours

    Ask a member of staff if you would like a slower paced tour of campus or accommodation. These can depart on demand and take as long as you need.

  • Information Zone

    10:00 - 14:00 – Thomas Paine Study Centre Foyer - Visit our Information Zone to chat with us and get all the information you need

    We know there's a lot to take in when it comes to choosing a university, but our experts in the Information Zone are here to help. Experienced staff from Admissions, Study Abroad, Finance, Student Support, UEA+Sport, Careers, Student Union and Accommodation will be available to answer your key questions. Don't miss this opportunity to chat with us and get all the information you need.

    We offer a wide range of delicious food and hot and chilled drinks across campus aiming to meet every taste and budget.

    Cafe opening times will be updated closer to the event.

  • Discover Norwich

    Take a free bus ride to the city centre of Norwich. A vibrant city, just a short bus ride from campus.

    We’ve teamed up with First Bus to offer free travel between UEA and Norwich on number 25 and 26 buses. Look out for our email including a unique code offering free bus travel for visitors.

    Take a visit along our cobbled streets, discover iconic landmarks like Norwich Cathedral and Norwich Castle, and enjoy the vibrant shopping districts. Don't forget to also take some time to check out our independent cafes or dine at a variety of restaurants offering delicious local and international cuisine.

You can access a huge range of resources on our Virtual Open Day platform covering all aspects of student life, the courses you’re interested in, UEA’s beautiful campus and the wonderful student city of Norwich.
