Politics and International Relations

Politics students in a seminar

Discover how politics works and what stops it working. Learn how you can make change that benefits everybody.

BA Politics enables you to put the turbulent events of UK politics into global and local contexts. BA International Relations shows you how the world is responding to the most urgent global issues. You can also combine the two, or study them alongside other subjects such as History, Philosophy, Economics and Global Development.

With employability at the centre of nearly every module we offer and opportunities to apply your learning in the real world, you’ll be fully prepared for whatever career you choose.

If you’re passionate about climate change and activism, or want to learn more about nuclear threat or rising tensions in the Asia-Pacific, our Politics and International Relations degrees have you covered.
