UEA’s Research and Innovation Service are looking to recruit a Commercialisation Administrator to provide high quality, flexible administrative support to the commercialisation team to ensure that the potential of UEA’s intellectual property is realised and generates benefits to UEA, the economy and society.
If successful, you will support the team through diary and events management, drafting documents and reports, monitoring financial data and reporting. You will assist with training, marketing and the monitoring and administration of commercialisation projects and being the team’s first point of contact for internal and external enquiries. The role will require excellent communication skills.
You must have two A levels at grades A-E, and five GCSE passes at grades A-C (including mathematics and English), or equivalent qualifications or equivalent level experience. In addition, you will have recent experience of working in a busy clerical or administrative role, well developed organisational skills, and demonstrable numeracy and financial processing skills. Common sense, discretion and respect for confidentiality are essential requirements of the role. This will involve making daily operational decisions, organising rotas to balance service and staff needs and responding to unforeseen operational problems. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Associate (SRA)/Research Associate (RA) to join Norwich Medical School. Appointment to SRA will depend on demonstration of appropriate experience in applied health economics research. You will contribute to health economic analysis on two projects: CHARMER and IMAB-Qi. These are both large scale NIHR funded programme grants with substantial health economic components.
You will be working closely with an established health economist (David Turner). As a Senior Research Associate/Research Associate you will contribute ideas and/or enhancement of techniques or methodologies. You will analyse and interpret data, write up results and present information on research progress and outcomes to the wider research team.
