Supplier Guidance for the Procurement Act (2023)

The Procurement Act 2023 (PA23) has come into effect and replaces the PCR2015 for public procurement. It will create new opportunities for suppliers by simplifying and improving procurement processes.

PA23 benefits everyone by making procurement a flexible process and enables participation by suppliers of all sizes including SMEs and VCSEs (Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise).

PA23 introduces a simplified bidding process, greater transparency via the Central Digital Platform (CDP) and enhanced oversight (Procurement Review Service, Procurement Compliance Service, Debarment Review Service).
